1. Special flanges for butterfly valves must be selected for installation;

2. Valves that are normally closed or open for a long time should be opened and closed regularly to prevent rusting caused by long-term inactivity;

3. If the valve is not tightly closed during the closing process, it should be fully opened again, and the water pressure of the pipeline should be used to flush the impurities on the inner wall of the pipeline before closing the valve again;

4. The back of the valve plate is prone to cavitation during adjustment, which may damage the valve, so it is generally not used for adjustment.
